Lisa Walshe

Director - Drama Teacher

From a young age Lisa has been involved in Dance and Performance, beginning at the age of five, completing qualifications in; Ballroom, Latin, Disco and Formation dancing.  Lisa began teaching in her teenage years, coaching younger students in Dance and Drama, consequently going on to run regular and successful Performing Arts Summer Schools.

Lisa studied Drama & Theatre Studies A-Level at KGV Sixth Form College, this then leading to her studies at Edge Hill University where she completed a BA Hons Degree in Drama and Writing Studies.   In 2005 Lisa completed her PGCE in Secondary Drama and she currently works as part of the Extended Senior Leadership Team and Head of Performing Arts at Litherland High School. 

As a teacher, you are always a learner, and in 2010 Lisa returned to the classroom studying ‘Acting for Screen’, at Manchester School of Acting, gaining a further qualification in Acting.  More recently Lisa has established contacts with recognised casting agencies across the country, with successful castings for her students with Pencil Trick Productions and with ITV.

Lisa’s belief is that the world of Performing Arts possesses the power to produce confident, positive, well-rounded communicators and Express Performing Arts Academy believe in bringing out the best in every individual, no matter what their ability.  With over twenty years teaching experience in Performing Arts, Lisa understands the benefits of expressing yourself through performance.  There is nothing more uplifting than succeeding on stage, or in a screen role, and the utter team ethic that such experiences create.

Danielle Clark.

Director - Dance Teacher


Danielle’s interest in Dance began at the young age of three, where she explored a range of different dance styles throughout her childhood. Danielle studied at Liverpool Theatre School, gaining a Dance and Drama scholarship and graduated in 2013 with a degree in Professional Musical Theatre.

Danielle has worked professionally as a performer, for many years within the industry and after graduating, gained her first professional contract playing Princess Jasmine in a UK Tour production of ‘Aladdin’.

Alongside her performance experience Danielle has been teaching for the past five years and loves to share her passion for Dance with all of her students. Danielle is a talented choreographer, specialising in Musical Theatre, Ballet, Tap and Street Dance. Danielle has choreographed professional routines for many shows; flash-mobs; corporate events and weddings.

Danielle’s kind nature, passion, professional ability and complete belief in all young people that she teaches, contributes invaluably to a major part of our Express vision; to provide all students, no matter what their ability with the opportunities to succeed and achieve.

Our staff and students are lucky to have such a talented teacher and performer on board at team Express.
